The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is the world’s first national-level expo dedicated entirely to imports. Scheduled for November 5–10, 2025, at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), it will gather more than 3,500 exhibitors and 400,000 visitors from over 150 countries and regions. Hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government, CIIE demonstrates China’s ongoing commitment to opening up its economy and fostering global trade. The event also features the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, where world leaders, economists and executives from multinational corporations discuss trade, investment, and sustainable globalization.
