CIIE 2025 — world’s leading import exhibition connecting global industries, trade and innovation in Shanghai

The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is the world’s first national-level expo dedicated entirely to imports. Scheduled for November 5–10, 2025, at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), it will gather more than 3,500 exhibitors and 400,000 visitors from over 150 countries and regions. Hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government, CIIE demonstrates China’s ongoing commitment to opening up its economy and fostering global trade. The event also features the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, where world leaders, economists and executives from multinational corporations discuss trade, investment, and sustainable globalization.

CIIE’s pavilions cover key global industries: smart equipment and automation, automobiles and e-mobility, food and agriculture, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and fashion, services and financial technologies. Each sector hosts dedicated forums and seminars on innovation, sustainability, ESG practices, and digital transformation in global trade.

Multinational corporations, SMEs, trade delegations and national pavilions

CIIE welcomes delegations from over 150 countries, including national and regional pavilions showcasing products, investment projects and trade initiatives. The NECC is one of the world’s largest and most advanced exhibition centers, offering 400,000 sqm of space, multiple exhibition halls, and state-of-the-art logistics. Its strategic location near Hongqiao Airport ensures seamless international access.
