9th Hongqiao International Economic Forum 2026

The 9th Hongqiao International Economic Forum takes place in Shanghai on 5–6 November 2026.

About the event

Hongqiao International Economic Forum is an international economic forum associated with CIIE but with its own two-day period. The 9th edition programme announced on 8 October includes 23 sub-forums and seven closed-door meetings and activities.

Preparation should identify sub-forums of interest and check access conditions. Closed-door meetings require their own participation arrangements to be confirmed. The overall programme does not replace details of a selected session and its timing.

The forum takes place on 5–6 November 2026 at National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The associated China International Import Expo continues until 10 November. Visitors combining both should separate forum and exhibition time, allowing for the forum’s earlier finish.
