Horizons Forum on Scientific and Technological Development 2026

About the event

The Horizons Forum on Scientific and Technological Development takes place in Krasnoyarsk on 5–6 November 2026. It is designed to connect research teams, companies, public authorities, development institutions and investors so that research reflects production needs and can move towards practical application. The two-day working forum centres on project sessions, negotiations, expert consultations and presentations of developments.

The programme has five tracks: the economy, regional governance, regional development priorities, youth in science and domestic software. It also addresses satellite engineering and satellite systems, energy and storage, unmanned technologies and the bioeconomy. Research groups seeking industrial challenges and partners can meet companies interested in new developments and technology cooperation.

Rather than following a single sequence of talks, the forum runs parallel work across several halls and meeting spaces. Formats include project sessions, pitching, expert consultations, direct negotiations and an exhibition and poster area for universities, companies and enterprises. Participants can present developments to potential customers and investors, discuss joint projects and prepare proposals for regional programmes and technology roadmaps.

The forum is intended for industry and government representatives, research teams, youth science communities, university and college educators, development funds and technology entrepreneurs. Expected outcomes include cooperation proposals, grant applications, investment offers and models for priority industries. A youth track complements the business programme with discussion of research teams and talent development in science and technology.

The venue is the National Centre Russia in Krasnoyarsk, 1I/1Zh Dubrovinsky Street. Participation is free, but registration is required and places are limited. Registered participants receive preparation instructions by email. Those planning to present a project or take part in business negotiations should indicate this in the registration form so the organisers can clarify arrangements.
