Modell Leben 2027 in Erfurt
Aircraft, cars, ships, RC models, slot cars and miniature worlds across two halls, with demonstrations and hands-on activities.
About the event
Modell Leben, the Thuringian model-building fair, is planned in Erfurt for 5–7 February 2027. Exhibitors, clubs and dealers are set to present models across two halls covering around 14,000 square metres. The fair is intended for model builders, hobby makers, collectors and families.
The announced areas include aircraft, cars and ships, military models, radio-controlled models, slot cars and miniature worlds. Visitors can move from transport and technical subjects to detailed miniature settings, exploring different kinds of model building. Clubs and dealers add community knowledge and advice alongside the displays.
Demonstrations, hands-on activities and expert guidance are also part of the announced format. Visitors can therefore engage with the making of models as well as look at finished examples. The combination offers something for experienced builders and for people exploring a new hobby.
