Orthodox Russia — Autumn 2026: Icons, Crafts and Monastery Goods
An exhibition-fair of Orthodox goods, crafts, natural foods and pilgrimage offerings.
About the event
Pravoslavnaya Rus is the 44th All-Russian exhibition-fair, scheduled in St Petersburg from 30 October to 5 November 2026. It brings together Orthodox-themed goods, crafts, food and pilgrimage offerings. Visitors can explore church culture, traditional trades and products from monastery and farm producers in one exhibition.
The displays include icons, books, church utensils, jewellery and items made by folk artisans. The sections offer different ways to engage with Orthodox culture, from objects for worship and home prayer to reading and gifts. The craft component highlights materials, handwork and traditional techniques.
A separate area is devoted to pilgrimage, with trips and routes for visitors to explore. The fair also presents natural foods, farm goods and products from monastery households. This mix brings spiritual, cultural and everyday aspects of Orthodox community life together in one place.
The organisers announce participation by more than 30 monasteries, sketes and churches. Named communities include St Elisabeth Convent from Minsk, Holy Trinity Monastery from Serbia and the Monastery of St Mary Magdalene in Jerusalem. Their presence broadens the geography of the fair and adds living connections to its craft, book and pilgrimage sections.
The exhibition takes place at the S. M. Kirov Palace of Culture, 83 Bolshoy Prospekt of Vasilievsky Island, St Petersburg. Admission is free. Visiting hours are 11:00–19:00 from 30 October through 4 November, and 11:00–16:00 on 5 November, so visitors can plan around any day of the fair.
