Prolight + Sound Guangzhou
The international exhibition for professional audio, lighting and stage equipment takes place in Guangzhou from 27 to 30 May 2027. It also covers AV and communication technologies for events and the entertainment industry.
About the event
Technology for live events and entertainment
Prolight + Sound Guangzhou is an exhibition for professionals working with professional audio, lighting, stage equipment and AV and communication technologies. These fields underpin the technical production of concerts, theatres, corporate events and other live experiences.
The exhibition offers an opportunity to explore a broad range of approaches to sound and image production, transmission and playback, as well as lighting and stage design. Professionals can compare solutions in light of project requirements, venue conditions and the way different technical systems need to work together.
Considerations for professional buyers
When assessing AV solutions, useful considerations include component compatibility, system scalability, installation and operating conditions, reliability and control. For lighting and stage equipment, the space, intended use and integration with audiovisual systems all shape the technical requirements.
The 2027 exhibition is held in Guangzhou, China. It is organised by Messe Frankfurt and Guangdong International Science and Technology Exhibition Co Ltd (STE), with the China Entertainment Technology Association (CETA) as co-organiser.
