About the event
SHK+E ESSEN is a professional trade fair for sanitary, heating, air-conditioning and electrical engineering. The 2028 edition is scheduled in Essen for 21–24 March. It brings together skilled trades, planners and industry, with a focus on sustainability, digital solutions and efficient installation. The fair provides a setting for professionals to explore developments in building services and exchange perspectives across the sectors involved in designing, supplying and installing them.
Planned forums and tours are set to address heat pumps, electrical engineering, drinking-water hygiene, building automation and smart sanitary solutions. These subjects span several connected building-services needs, from heating and power to water quality and digital control. Visitors can consider technologies and installation approaches in the context of planning and day-to-day work.
The event is aimed at skilled trades, planners and industry, bringing together people involved in different stages of building-services work. That mix can support discussion of how solutions are planned, developed and installed. Startup and planning forums are also part of the announced offer, with innovation and networking as their stated aims.
