Fifth Engineering and Design Forum — 2026

The planned panel examines digital design and construction, including information modelling, possible uses of AI, design validation and construction supervision.

About the event

The Fifth Engineering and Design Forum was scheduled for 21 October 2026, 12:30–15:30, at the Radisson Blu Leninsky Prospect Hotel in Moscow, 90/3 Leninsky Prospect. Its announced programme centres on a panel discussion about digital transformation in construction and design. Participants were expected to consider how new tools affect work at different stages of a project.

The agenda covers information modelling, possible uses of artificial intelligence, checking design solutions and construction supervision. It also considers how information about an asset is used throughout its lifecycle. These topics connect design and building with later operation: the quality of source data and the transfer of decisions between stages affect the work of the whole project team.

Further panel questions concern validating design decisions to reduce client risk and creating an integrated information model of a building and its surrounding infrastructure with Russian software. Construction supervision is considered alongside project data, while another question asks what value information about the asset can retain during operation after construction ends.

The announced moderator is Ilya Mashkov, chair of the Moscow Region Designers Association. The six named speakers include NOTIM president Mikhail Viktorov, CAPSTROY/NTC Konstruktor product director Alexandra Miroshnichenko and CREDO-DIALOG deputy general director Maria Shcherbakova. Eurasian Centre for Business Events LLC is the forum’s organiser and operator; ENERGYEVENTS is its sector brand.
