About CCPIT Shanghai
CCPIT Shanghai is the Shanghai branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Its official profile describes it as the oldest local CCPIT branch, founded in November 1956. It was renamed CCPIT Shanghai in 2002 and is directly affiliated with the Shanghai municipal government.
Areas of work
Its stated functions include promoting trade, investment, and economic and technical cooperation; maintaining international liaison; providing convention and exhibition services; and offering legal arbitration and trade and investment consulting.
The organization also works to involve Shanghai companies in international exhibitions and economic and trade events. CCPIT Shanghai is named as a joint organizer of Intersec Shanghai 2027.
