About the venue
An integrated event complex
The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) combines exhibition and conference facilities with commercial and office functions and a hotel. Developed jointly by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, it began trial operation in October 2014.
CIIE has been held at the venue since 2018. Its mix of exhibition and conference spaces with other functions supports a range of event formats.
Getting there
The official venue introduction notes a connection to Metro Line 2 and a straight-line distance of about 1.5 km from the Hongqiao transport hub.
